The evaluation and PRO account
Take Profit Trader uses a single-step evaluation. You pay a monthly subscription tied to account size, hit the profit target within the daily and maximum loss limits, then move to a funded PRO account.
In our testing the rules were enforced exactly as documented. The PRO account is where you start earning real payouts, and the progression is clear and well explained. The single-step format is simpler than two-step rivals, which suits traders who want a faster route to funding.
Trader-friendly payouts
This is the firm's headline strength. On a PRO account you can request payouts early and frequently once you meet the minimum threshold — you do not have to wait for a long fixed cycle.
The split starts at around 80% and improves to roughly 90% on later payouts as you build history with the firm. Funded traders report payouts arriving within the published window with a clear breakdown. Always confirm the current threshold, frequency and split tiers in your dashboard before withdrawing.
Pricing and value
Take Profit Trader is mid-priced for the futures category. The evaluation is a monthly subscription, and like its peers the firm runs frequent promo codes that meaningfully reduce the cost.
Our advice: never buy at full sticker price, and factor in that you may pay for a month or two before passing. Value is strong if you pass reasonably quickly, because the early and frequent payouts let you recover the fee soon after reaching the PRO account.
Platforms and data feeds
Take Profit Trader supports Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView, covering CME futures such as ES, NQ, GC and CL. Data feeds were stable across these platforms in our testing.
If you already trade Tradovate or NinjaTrader, onboarding is quick, and TradingView support is welcome for chart-focused traders. Confirm any platform or data fees that apply on top of the subscription price.
Rules and drawdown
Take Profit Trader enforces a daily loss limit and a maximum loss limit, both clearly defined. There are also payout-eligibility rules on the PRO side, such as minimum trading days and consistency requirements before your first withdrawal.
These rules are sensible for risk management but reward steady trading over a single large win. In our experience, sizing down and trading consistently is the path of least resistance. Read the current rulebook carefully — rules evolve.
Who Take Profit Trader is best for
Take Profit Trader is best for futures traders who prioritise fast, frequent payouts and a simple single-step evaluation. If you trade ES or NQ with consistent risk and want to withdraw early once funded, the value is excellent.
It is a weaker fit for traders chasing the highest possible split from day one, since the early split starts lower before improving. Risk note: evaluation accounts are simulated until you reach a funded PRO account, rules matter, and every prop firm carries business risk, so never treat fees as guaranteed income.
