No firm can buy a better rank. Here is the exact scoring framework behind every prop firm, broker and tool verdict on the site — the five dimensions, the weights, and how we test.
Each dimension is scored from 0 to 10, then weighted into a single verdict score out of 10. Payout reliability carries the most weight, because a great split is worthless if the money never lands.
Do withdrawals actually arrive, and how fast? We weigh payout rules, processing times, caps and how often real funded traders report problems. This is weighted heaviest because nothing else matters if you cannot get paid.
How forgiving — and how clear — are the trading rules? We score drawdown type and size, consistency rules, news and overnight restrictions, and how often the firm changes the terms after you have paid.
What you really pay across the evaluation fee, resets, activation and monthly costs, measured against the funded capital and split you get in return. Headline discounts are discounted; the all-in cost is what counts.
Execution quality, available platforms, data feed cost and reliability, and how well the tech holds up in fast markets. A firm you cannot trade cleanly is a firm you cannot pass.
Track record, ownership transparency, responsiveness of support, and the firm’s history of honouring its own rules. Longevity and a clean payout record move this score up.
We do not score from a spec sheet. Every verdict is grounded in evaluations and funded accounts we've traded ourselves.
We buy the evaluation at the standard public price — no comped accounts — so the experience matches what you would get.
We run the evaluation, hit the rules on purpose where it is safe to, and document drawdown behaviour, restrictions and platform performance.
Where we reach the funded phase, we work through the payout rules, processing times and friction — and weigh them against what real funded traders report.
Each dimension is scored 0–10, weighted into a single verdict, and published with the test date so you know exactly how current it is.
We update monthly. Prop firm rules, prices and discounts change constantly. We revisit every verdict at least once a month, re-test when a firm changes something material, and stamp each review with the date it was last checked.
Rankings are not for sale. We earn affiliate commissions from some links, but no firm can pay to rank higher, to be featured, or to have a criticism removed. The score is decided by the test before any commercial discussion happens — and it does not move afterwards.
When a firm fails a payout, tightens a rule unfairly, or behaves badly toward traders, the score drops regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with them. That is the whole point of the site.
