Your privacy, in plain English.

TradingVerdict (“we”, “us”, “our”) publishes independent reviews and comparisons of futures prop firms, brokers and trading tools. We earn affiliate commissions from some of the firms we link to — see our affiliate disclosure. This policy explains how we handle personal data on this website. It does not cover the third-party sites we link to, which have their own policies.

Because we have no sign-up, login or lead forms, we collect very little:

• Analytics data (with your consent): anonymous, aggregated statistics about page views and navigation via Google Analytics 4 — pages visited, approximate region, device and browser type, and how you reached us. IP addresses are anonymised. Until you consent, analytics runs in cookieless mode and sets no identifying cookies.
• Outbound affiliate clicks: when you click an ad link, we log which link was clicked and when so we can measure what is useful and reconcile commissions. This is not used to build a profile of you.
• Anything you send us: if you email us or use the contact page, we receive whatever you choose to write — your email address and the contents of your message.

We do not ask for or store financial account details, trading account credentials, or payment information. We never sell your data.

• To operate, secure and improve the website.
• To understand which content is helpful (in aggregate) so we can make it better.
• To measure referrals and reconcile affiliate commissions with the firms and networks we work with.
• To respond to messages you send us.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Analytics and marketing cookies are off until you consent, and you can change your choice at any time. Full details — categories, names and durations — are on our cookie policy.

We keep third parties to a minimum, and only use reputable providers:

• Google Analytics (Google Ireland/LLC) — analytics, only after consent.
• Vercel — hosting and privacy-friendly aggregate performance metrics.
• Affiliate networks & the firms we link to — when you follow an affiliate link, they set their own cookies on their site to credit the referral. Their use of your data is governed by their policies, not ours.

Where GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for analytics and marketing cookies, and on our legitimate interests (running a secure website, measuring referrals, and answering messages) for the minimal operational data described above. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings (up to 24 months) and then aggregated. Outbound click logs are kept only as long as needed to reconcile commissions. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to handle your request and then deleted.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@tradingverdict.com. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have mishandled your data, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We serve readers worldwide and our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards. Note that CFDs and some products we cover are not available to retail clients in every jurisdiction (for example, CFDs are not available to US retail clients) — availability is set by the firms, not by us.

Trading carries substantial risk and this site is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. We will revise the “last updated” date above when we do, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
