How we ranked these firms
For forex/CFD firms we weigh payout reliability and reputation first, then pricing and value, profit split, rules and drawdown and platform choice. Because this niche has many newer firms, a documented track record and a strong, high-volume review base count heavily.
FundingPips tops the list as the best blend of value and reputation — cheap entry (from ~$29), ~24-hour payouts, splits up to 100% and a ~4.5 Trustpilot score across 32,000+ reviews. FTMO is the benchmark for the longest documented payout history, FundedNext earns its place for letting you earn during the challenge, Alpha Capital Group for refundable fees and a top ~4.7 rating, and The5ers for aggressive scaling and instant funding.
An honest word on GOAT Funded Trader
We include GOAT Funded Trader because it is genuinely the cheapest, most flexible option (a $1 simulator, a Pay Later route, 10+ models) and it does pay many traders. But we rank it last here on purpose: its Trustpilot score sits around 2.6, with recurring complaints about payout denials and strict rule enforcement.
That does not make it a scam — it reports $11M+ in payouts — but it carries more reputation risk than the firms above it. If you choose GOAT, read the rulebook line by line and treat fees as risk capital. We rank on what the public record shows, not on which firm pays us.
Forex prop firms and US traders
A crucial point: forex/CFD prop firms do not offer CFD products to US retail clients. Every firm on this list restricts US-based traders for that reason. If you are in the US, a forex prop firm is generally not an option — look at a futures prop firm such as Topstep or Apex Trader Funding instead, which trade CME products and are open to US traders.
Outside the US, these firms are widely available, but eligibility still varies by country. Always confirm you can be funded in your jurisdiction before paying for an evaluation.
What to check before you buy
Confirm the drawdown structure (daily and max loss, trailing vs static), the profit split and any scaling plan, the payout threshold, frequency and speed, and any consistency or minimum-day rules that gate your first withdrawal. Check the platform (MT4/MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader, DXtrade, TradeLocker) supports how you trade.
Never pay sticker price — these firms discount constantly — and weigh reputation above a marginally lower fee. A cheap challenge at a firm that delays payouts is poor value next to a proven firm that pays cleanly.
Honest caveats and risk
Most of these firms are relatively young (2021–2022), so the longest track record (FTMO) is a genuine advantage. We have not tested every firm’s payouts ourselves and report reputation as the public record, not as proof.
Risk note: evaluation and funded prop-firm accounts are simulated until you are funded and paid, CFD/forex trading carries a high risk of loss, and rules and pricing change often. Start small, confirm a payout works before scaling, and never treat fees as guaranteed income.
