One-step vs two-step evaluations
Alpha Futures lets you choose between a one-step and a two-step evaluation. The one-step is faster — a single phase to hit your profit target within the loss limits — while the two-step spreads the requirement across two phases and is often cheaper per account size.
In our testing the rules matched the documentation on both routes. Pick the one-step if you want speed and are confident, or the two-step if you prefer a lower price and do not mind a longer path to funding.
Consistency rules
Alpha Futures applies a consistency rule that limits how much of your total profit can come from a single trading day. This is designed to reward steady, repeatable performance rather than one lucky session.
In practice this means you should avoid loading all your risk into one trade. The rule is clearly published, but the exact percentage can change, so check the current rulebook for your plan before you start trading toward a payout.
Pricing and value
Alpha Futures is competitively priced for the futures category, and like its peers it runs frequent promo codes. As of our last test, evaluation plans were billed monthly and scaled with account size.
Our advice: never buy at full sticker price, and factor in that you may pay for a month or two before passing. Value is solid given the up-to-90% split, but check current pricing because newer firms adjust it more often.
Platforms and data feeds
Alpha Futures supports Rithmic, Tradovate and NinjaTrader, covering CME futures such as ES, NQ, GC and CL. The Rithmic feed in particular is a favourite among serious futures traders, and execution was stable in our testing.
